Love lives here.
At our daycare, your child will have an opportunity to learn and grow in an environment that is safe and nurturing. I have been running my daycare for over 15 years and I strive to partner with parents to support their child’s cognitive, physical, language, social, emotional and creative development.
Learning Through All Five Senses
Children learn by doing and are inspired through music, art, movement, stories and educational materials that promote development and uniqueness.
Our Baby Program
We accept infants from 6 weeks to 12 months on a full-time basis. Every baby is given consistent and personal attention.
I provide a warm, welcoming environment where your baby can grow from a bundle of joy to a bundle of curiosity. Your baby will experience opportunities that invite exploration for important development that is occurring in a child’s first year.
Our Preschool Program
A massive amount of cognitive development takes place in the first five years of a child’s life. I take full advantage of those years with hands-on play, exploration, and discovery. At the same time, this is an important time in children’s social and emotional development, as well. Daily activities in carefully-constructed learning areas allow for maximum intellectual learning.
Art
In addition to music, crafts and story time, your child will enjoy sensory tables, playground equipment and more.
Exercise
Yoga
Yoga helps children learn techniques for relaxation and inner fulfillment, helping them navigate life’s challenges with a little more ease. Yoga at an early age encourages self-esteem and body awareness with a physical activity that’s noncompetitive. We practice yoga every morning and the children look forward to it when they arrive!
Nutrition
Healthy Meals
I am also a certified health/wellness coach and incorporate healthy nutritious meals and snacks into our program to make sure each child is eating the proper foods for their best development.
Prepping For Life
Potty Training
Yes, this is a major step in getting your child ready for life! The “three day” potty training system is used when your child is age appropriate.
If this sounds like the perfect daycare for you, please feel free to contact me to set up a meeting!
Potty Training and Daycare
If your daycare provides potty training, you would be wise to take advantage of it. But, here’s the thing-you need to be just as involved with it as well or it will not work.
Potty Train in a Weekend to help you potty train as an adventure
Now that it’s getting nice, this is a great time to think about Potty Training. Weekends can get hectic, but I hope that you can find some time to potty train this weekend because it is a great time! I have a couple of daycare kids that I am actually planning on potty training as well-though we do it during the week. I have a little girl that just turned 19 months, so it’s the perfect time.
My own children were ‘easy’ to train using the method used in the book, Potty Train in a Weekend: Mom of four shares the secrets to having your child potty trained in a weekend
(affiliate), which I love, love, love. It is fast and to the point and works like a charm on any daycare child that goes to our daycare when they reach the right time.
Kids are so very proud of themselves when they were able to use the potty and let’s face it, parents are too!! Being potty trained means no more diapers and messes to clean.
Don’t think that your child wouldn’t benefit from this method because they may have started to potty train but regressed, or pee, but wouldn’t poop. There are chapters dedicated to just those issues and how to overcome them.
You can download it to your computer, tablet, phone, or you can even just print it… whatever works for you!
Or, you can buy paperback through Amazon: Potty Train in a Weekend: Mom of four shares the secrets to having your child potty trained in a weekend
Good luck!
