According to the latest CDC Report, flu is widespread across the states. The common cold is wide spread as well and as most know, daycares and schools are breeding grounds for sickness. Only because kids are just being “kids”. Wiping noses with hands and not covering mouthes when sneezing spreads germs.
There are ways to help keep down being ill. One way is from the inside out. What do I mean by that? Well, by eating right, getting plenty of sleep and drinking enough water.
While you have the children at your daycare, you can make sure you serve healthy meals and snacks. One “sickness” prevention snack you can serve are raw fruit and vegetable smoothies. These are great immune system fortifiers. to help prevent infection with a cold or flu.
